NOTAS:

Survey conducted by TNS political & social at the request of the European Commission, Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content & Technology.
"The EU has worked for 10 years to eliminate extra roaming charges within the Union. The
end of roaming charges is one of the key foundations of the EU’s Digital Single Market, and
an important step in building an accessible, sustainable digital society for all citizens.
On June 15, 2017 the EU achieved this objective. There are no extra charges for calling,
sending text messages and use of mobile data when traveling with their mobile in another
EU/EEA country. People can call, text and surf the internet for the same price they would
pay if they were at home.
This survey was commissioned by the European Commission to measure awareness about
the abolition of roaming charges, and the impact this has had on citizens’ mobile use when
travelling in the EU."
