"Mapping of national rules applicable to video-sharing platforms: illegal and harmful content online, a report prepared by the European Audiovisual Observatory for the European Commission co-financed under the Creative Europe Programme, looks at the different current approaches of the EU27 countries plus the UK and Norway regarding the rules applicable to video-sharing platforms (VSPs) to address illegal and harmful content online. The mapping report includes existing rules and practices and newly introduced legislation regarding illegal and harmful content online following the adoption of the Revised AVMSD. It reflects the state of play as at May 2021, with the transposition process of the AVMSD still ongoing in several countries." |
