| NOTAS: | "Digital technology is fundamentally changing our lives and the way companies do business. A new Framework sketches digital policy developments and outlines the main data requirements to monitor European polices, information and communication technologies as well as their impact on the economy and society in the period 2016-2021. The new Monitoring Framework has been endorsed by the Digital Agenda High Level Group, after consultation of Member States representatives and the Eurostat working group on Information Society Statistics. The Framework is based on the analysis of past data collections, output from the Community Surveys on ICT Usage and e-Commerce in Enterprises as well as on ICT usage in households and by individuals. It defines new areas and data sources to be exploited in the future and replaces the previous Conceptual Framework." |
