Ovum's quarterly benchmarking of interconnection charges provides a regular update on MTRs; this report provides context around how the rates are determined and indicates how they will evolve as the new cost methodology is implemented.
Most countries are moving towards very low cost-based rates, and these rates will eventually converge between 2013 and 2014, although several countries have missed the January 2013 deadline for compliance with the EC’s recommendation on fixed and mobile termination rates.." |
