The 2nd stage of the public consultation on the process of definition of relevant markets, significant market power (SMP) evaluation and obligation imposition is launched today, as part of the process of implementation of the new regulatory framework that results from the so-called 99 Review, comprising leased circuits, local loop unbundling and broadband services.
The purpose of this consultation is to gather the opinions of participants of several markets as regards some of ANACOM?s preliminary options as well as issues concerning the criteria and indicators used for the definition of relevant markets, the evaluation of the effective competition in each market and the imposition, maintaining and withdrawal of obligations, among others.
This consultation aims also at gathering information that may possibly be required in the course of the subsequent process of market analysis.
