Applicable fees

The fees applicable to the amateur service are set out in annex V of Administrative Rule no. 1473-B/2008 of 17 December, and by text on Administrative Rule no. 296-A/2013, of 2 October a summary of which is given below:

Fees for administrative costs

Amateur ability exam

NAC issue

€ 15.00

Issue of a duplicate or alteration of the NAC or of an appropriate CEPT or ITU license

€ 15.00

Issue of a license for non-proprietary stations

€ 15.00

Issue of a duplicate or alteration of a license for non-proprietary stations

Issue of a duplicate of international certificates

€ 15.00

Assignment of a call sign to an additional fixed station (ACS)

Assignment of an occasional call sign (OCS)

Assignment of an annual occasional call sign (AOCS)

Fees for optimising the use of common resources

Annual fee for the use of an annual occasional call sign (AOCS)

€ 120.00

Annual fee for use of spectrum by the NAC holder

€ 20.00

The annual fee for use of spectrum by NAC holders is subject to the following reductions:

a) By 50% for those below 25 years of age;

b) By 50% for those above 65 years of age;

c) By 70% for disabled persons who suffer permanent disability at 60% or above, pursuant to paragraph 4c) of article 19 of Decree-Law no. 53/2009, of 2 March.
