In 2008, ICP-ANACOM revoked the rights to use frequencies for the operation of FWA systems previously allocated to Broadmédia - Comunicações Globais, S.A. (Broadmédia) and to AR Telecom - Acessos e Rede de Telecomunicações, S.A. (AR Telecom) and further revoked the corresponding radio licenses at the request of the operators themselves.
It also amended the rights to use frequencies for use of FWA, allocated to WTS - Redes e Serviços de Telecomunicações, S.A. (WTS), in order to reduce the operator's geographic area of service.
