On 9 March 2012, ICP-ANACOM approved a final decision on the pricing of the television signal (terrestrial) distribution and broadcasting (analogue) service, as charged by PTC. According to the decision, PTC is required to reduce the price of each of the provisions comprising the analogue terrestrial television signal distribution and broadcasting service by at least 29.6%, to ensure that the service's pricing regime respects the principle of cost orientation, as a result of the analysis of the television signal (terrestrial) distribution and broadcasting (analogue) market.
