The European Committee for Postal Regulation (CERP) is composed of representatives from the CEPT countries' postal regulatory authorities. It joins currently 48 members.
It is competent in the following issues: to consider postal regulatory affairs in a European context; to assess the influence of international regulatory policies; to establish the necessary contacts with the European Commission in what concerns postal regulatory issues; to establish and develop relationships with relevant bodies and associations concerned with postal regulation issues; to develop proposals and recommendations, where appropriate.
