In the equipment market ICP-ANACOM inspected or investigated in 2002 a total of 932 items of radio equipment and terminal equipment, tested various models and verified technical and administrative requirements, namely by reviewing the statement of equipment conformity. It also studied the current status of compliance with the obligation for public telecommunications network operators to report interface technical specifications to ICP-ANACOM and gathered information and studied technical documentation, with the aim of updating the information content available on the ICP-ANACOM website, in the R&TTE Regime section, on the ?Publication of Technical Specifications?.
Regarding electric and electronic equipment (electromagnetic compatibility), inspection and investigation actions involved 1,363 equipment items; 51 equipment items were tested, while the documentation of 276 equipment items was assessed.
