Efforts continued in 2002 to receive applications from technical designers, technical installers and certifying entities. The activity of overseeing certifying entities was begun and ICP-ANACOM approved the draft technical standard designated as the ?ITED Manual?, which contains the technical instructions and prescriptions for telecommunications infrastructures in buildings, following on the public consultation launched in August 2001. The corresponding procedure for notifying the European Commission was promoted as a draft technical standard; its conclusion was passed on to 2003.
