Keeping in mind ICP-ANACOM?s statutory responsibilities in the area of equipment and material, the Authority carried out in its Radio Metrology Laboratory multiple calibrations of devices in DC and low frequency and radiofrequency up to 18 GHz. The Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory (LCEM ? Laboratório de Compatibilidade Electromagnética) carried out trials of emissions and immunity, both conducted and radiated, on electronic and electronic equipment of various kinds, while the Radiocommunications Equipment Testing Laboratory (Laboratório de Ensaios de Equipamentos de Radiocomunicações) verified the conformity of the characteristics of emission equipment, receivers, emitters/receivers with the specific requisites stipulated in national legislation and/or European ETSI standards whose adoption had been recommended by CEPT.
