Reanalysis of the leased lines retail market and the wholesale markets of terminating and trunk segments of leased lines (draft decision)

By determination of 16 December 2009, ANACOM has approved the draft decision on the definition of product markets and geographic markets, evaluation of SMP and the imposition, maintenance, amendment or withdrawal of regulatory obligations in relation to the market for the retail provision of leased lines and the wholesale markets for the provision of terminating and trunk segments of leased lines.

This draft is subject to the general consultation procedure laid down in Article 8 of the Law of Electronic Communications (Law No. 5/2004 of 10 February) and to the prior hearing of interested parties, under the terms established by Articles 100 and 101 of the Code of Administrative Procedure. A period of 30 working days is provided for the submission of comments in the context of both these consultation processes.
