Radio licensing - Use of electronic means in procedures


By determination of 23 December 2009, ANACOM has given approval to the draft decision on the provision and use of electronic means in the procedures which involve communication between this Authority and the holders of network or radiocommunication station licences, as well as with respect to all the applicable requirements.

This determination follows up on Decree-Law No. 151-A/2000 of 20 July, in the rewording enacted by Decree-Law No. 264/2009 of 28 September. As such, in accordance with article 28-A, which was added by this latter piece of legislation, it falls to ANACOM to define and publicise the electronic means which may be used in the procedures which involve communication between this Authority and the holders of network or radiocommunication station licences, specifically with respect to the issuance, amendment, transmission and revocation of such licences.


This draft is subject to the public consultation procedure under the terms of article 103, paragraph 1, point c) of the Code of Administrative Procedure, for a period of ten working days, terminating on 13 January 2009. Comments should preferably be sent by email to "licenciamento-meios.electronicos@anacom.pt".

ANACOM has today published an advertisement in various newspapers (Diário de Noticias, Jornal de Notícias, Público, Açoriano Oriental e Diário de Notícias da Madeira), in order to give notice of the approval of this draft decision.
