ANACOM renews image


ANACOM is today, 8 January 2010, presenting its new image – a more up-to-date and inspirational image which emphasises the organisation’s rigour and agility as Portugal’s National Communications Authority.

Having completed two decades of operation, it was decided to renew ANACOM’s image to signal a constant  cycle of innovation and adaptation in line with new and emerging trends in the communications sector.

In this context of cutting edge innovation, a new logo has been created which points towards the future. The colour scheme has been simplified, with emphasis given to yellow, portraying a bright sense of energy and Portuguese identity, to white, which adds luminosity and clarity, and to grey, which, as a neutral and sober colour, symbolises the sector’s technological base.  ANACOM is maintaining the slogan representing its brand, because “Free flowing communication” remains a great promise and constant source of motivation.

As part of this revamp, ANACOM is updating its means of communication and the facades of its premises have also been renovated.  To announce this change to a wider public, a new institutional advertisement will be published today and tomorrow in the national press (Público and Expresso newspapers).
