Cooperation protocol between ANACOM and INACOM

As part of a visit by ANACOM to Angola on 3 and 4 July 2008, the signing of a technical cooperation protocol has been scheduled between this Authority and its Angolan counterpart, INACOM. The visit will also be used to take stock of cooperation so far between the two bodies in recent years, giving basis to the identification of existing needs, which will be later timetabled, presented and contractualised in an Indicative Cooperation Programme for the next three years.

The meeting will likewise provide an opportunity to address other issues, such as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Centre of Excellence for Portuguese speaking African Countries and the setting up of a Regulators Association for the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP). This last point will include the Agenda of the V Technical Meeting of CPLP, scheduled for 10 and 11 July in Cape Verde.
