The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has recently published the 2008 report on the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).
This report aims to take stock of the activities executed by the government and other interested participants in implementing the Declaration of Principles and Plan of Action of the Summit, as well as to appraise the progress achieved in the construction of the information society. It was prepared based on information provided by various stakeholders, with reference to activities organised between the end of 2005 and mid 2008.
