On 24 April, starting at 10am, the public acts were held of the opening of the tender applications for the allocation of a frequency usage right on a national basis (Mux A) and for the allocation of frequency usage rights on a national and part-national basis for the service of digital terrestrial television broadcasting and the licensing of a distribution operator (Muxes B to F).
The Committee appointed for this purpose decided to propose to the Board of Directors of ANACOM to allow the proposal of PT Comunicações (PTC) submitted for Mux A. The same Committee approved the proposal of this company for Muxes B to F. With respect to the tender application of AirPlus Television Portugal for Muxes B to F, its allowance by the Committee was conditional, whereby such is subject to the presentation by 4pm on 30 April of documental proof of the provision of the provisional bond demanded under the terms of the corresponding Tender regulation.
The Board of Directors, at a subsequent meeting, decided to approve the proposal of the Committee in respect of Mux A.
