In order to raise awareness and promote debate of the proposals presented by the European Commission for the review of the regulatory framework for electronic communications and in respect of the preparation of a common position, ANACOM is organising three workshops. To be held in January 2008, these workshops will address specific and relevant issues.
The first, scheduled for 15 January 2008, will look at “The Authority (EECMA) and the new powers of the European Commission” and will be attended by representatives of the Energy Services Regulatory Authority, the European Regulators Group and the European Commission. The second workshop has been scheduled for 25 January, and will debate “The new regulation of the radio spectrum”, with the third, on 31 January, addressing the subject, “Functional separation”.
All the workshops will be held at SANA Malhoa Hotel, situated at Av. José Malhoa no. 8, in Lisbon.
Participation is open to all, but prior registration is required. To register, participants should send an email to workshopsrevisao@anacom.pt specifying which workshop they would like to attend, at least two working days beforehand.
