The Portuguese Association for E-commerce (ACEP - Associação do Comércio Electrónico em Portugal) has launched a new version of its practical guide for consumers on ''Buying on the Internet''. The guide, which was distributed free in daily newspapers on 11 November, aims to inform consumers about the benefits of making purchases online.
This initiative follows the 4th Electronic Commerce Week, which was held from 6 to 16 November. Meanwhile, the results were presented of the study on ''Electronic Commerce in Portugal, facts and forecasts 2001/2001'', which ACEP carried out in conjunction with IDC and NetSonda.
