ICT Security Standards

A list of security standards for information and communication technologies (ICT) has been made available for consultation as part of the ICT Security Standards Roadmap project.

This project aims to assist in the development of security standards by bringing together information about existing standards and standards which are under development, as well as about the organisations involved in this work. The project was started at the beginning of 2007 by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in conjunction with the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) and the Network and Information Security Steering Group (NISSG).

The ICT Security Standards Roadmap project has five parts: ICT standards development organizations and their work; approved ICT security standards; security standards under development; future needs and proposed new security standards; and best practices. The standards are listed by topic.
