The 4th Electronic Commerce Week, an initiative of the Portuguese E-Commerce Association (Associação do Comércio Electrónico em Portugal) (ACEP) in partnership with The Knowledge Society Agency (UMIC), opened on 6 November and will close on 16 November. The week’s objective is to promote analysis and debate on e-commerce.
The week, which is being held during the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union, also has the aim of raising awareness about the e-commerce situation in Portugal, making a contribution to strengthening the solid performance of the country in terms of mobilising the knowledge and information society, and promoting national and European modernisation and competitiveness.
The 4th Electronic Commerce Week forms part of a range of initiatives, such as conferences, themed workshops and the announcement of the winner of the 2nd ACEP Navigators Prize.
