Portuguese Committee of URSI - seminar


The first seminar of the Portuguese Committee of URSI  (International Union of Radio Science), to be held in Lisbon on 28 November, will address the subject ''Radiocommunications - New paradigms and health impact'' with the aim of promoting scientific works in associated areas and encouraging experience exchange between researchers, manufacturers and service providers. Organised by ANACOM, the seminar will be held in the Auditorium of the Rectory of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL).

The seminar follows an invitation to all interested parties to submit original scientific communications, some of which will be presented at the seminar.

Participation in the first seminar of the Portuguese Committee of URSI is free and open to all. However participants should register by completing a registration form by 26 November 2007.

URSI - International Union of Radio Science is a non-governmental and non-profit making organisation under the auspices of the International Council of Scientific Union. Its aim is to encourage and coordinate, at an international level, studies, research, applications, scientific exchanges and information sharing in the area of radio electricity sciences. URSI's Portuguese Committee has the aim of encouraging, promoting and coordinating studies in the areas of radio electricity sciences and electronics at a national level. ANACOM is responsible for organising the works of the Portuguese Committee of URSI.
