By determination of 27 May 2010, ANACOM decided not to oppose the entry into force of the tariff proposal for the universal postal service (comprising both reserved and non-reserved services) that will apply with effect from 1 June 2010, submitted by CTT - Correios de Portugal, S.A., in accordance with the Universal Postal Service Price Convention.
ANACOM also decided not to oppose the requested reduction of deadlines for prior notification of prices and their disclosure to consumers, being incumbent upon CTT, notwithstanding, to ensure the launching of an advertising campaign that appropriately guarantees that users are clarified and informed. The referred company must also report to ANACOM, within 10 working days, the tariff disclosure measures that have been adopted.
