The European Regulators Group (ERG) has published a common position on best practice in remedies imposed as a consequence of a position of significant market power in the relevant markets for Wholesale Leased Lines. This document, which sets out the methodology to be applied by national regulatory authorities (NRA) in the definition of suitable remedies in light of the objectives established by the community regulatory framework, complements the common position (revised) on remedies approved previously (June 2006).
At the same time, the results of the consultation which was held as part of the adoption process of this common position have also been published. The ERG received four responses to this consultation, from: European Telecommunications Network Operators Association (ETNO), European Competitive Telecommunications Association (ECTA), Bouygues Telecom and Arcor.
