Cooperation with the sector regulator of Guinea-Bissau

Between 22 and 24 October, a delegation from Instituto das Comunicações da Guiné-Bissau (ICGB) (Communications Institute of Guinea-Bissau) is visiting ANACOM. The delegation is made up Joaquim Batista Correia, the chairman of the ICGB, António da Silva, Executive Director, and Martilene dos Santos, Director of International Relations.

Cooperation with Guinea-Bissau follows the framework of the Cooperation Protocol made between the Portuguese Ministry for the Equipment, Planning and Administration of the Territory and the Ministry of Social Equipment, Transport and Communications of Guinea-Bissau, signed on 6 February 1998. ANACOM has been supporting the development of communications in Guinea-Bissau since then, through various activities ranging from the exchange of information to the promotion of the development of Guinea-Bissau's telecommunication regulatory framework, the donation of equipment, technical missions, consulting and annual training programmes (technical work programmes) in Lisbon.
