ANACOM has approved a draft decision on the conditions of the RIO 2008 (reference interconnection offer to be provided in 2008), which has been submitted to a prior hearing of interested parties, in compliance with the Code of Administrative Procedure.
In line with this draft decision, PT Comunicações (PTC) must amend the RIO 2008 within 10 days from the approval of the final decision, as regards a number of aspects concerning chargeable maximum prices (call termination and origination services, monthly charge per minimum capacity unit, billing, charging and bad debt liability, porting of numbers and pre-selection activation), which will be applied as from 12 March 2008. Alterations concern also the interconnection price for calls made from PTC's public pay phones.
Interested parties have been requested to present contributions on management, operation and maintenance services, taking into account the information provided in the approved draft decision. Based on received contributions and information, ANACOM shall assess the need for a draft decision on these matters.
