Cooperation with Hungary


As part of the cooperation between the National Communications Authority of Hungary (NHH) and ANACOM, an exchange of professional experience between these two bodies, in respect spectrum monitoring and control, took place between 01 and 04 October.
 
Three NHH technicians participated in this action, who, together with ANACOM technicians, were involved in various monitoring activities using the infrastructure in Barcarena, the remote stations of the National System for the Remote Control of Radio Emissions (SINCRER – Sistema Nacional de Controlo Remoto das Emissões Radioeléctricas), mobile radiogoniometer stations and the remote control of the monitoring centres of Madeira and the Azores. The following activities were also performed: detection and elimination of interference caused by radiation from the installations of TV Cabo, detection of interference caused by wind farms in the reception of television broadcasting, detection and analysis of interference caused by high voltage cables, analysis of technical parameters of transmissions of radio and television broadcasting stations, studies of GSM/UMTS coverage and quality and analysis of FWA transmission parameters.
 
Alongside the technical activities, visits were made to the Spectrum Monitoring and Control Centre of the North and to ANACOM’s Laboratories in Barcarena.
