The European Parliament adopted, on 19 June 2007, a resolution on building a European policy on broadband, in recognition of broadband’s importance to Europe’s economic development and regional cohesion and reaffirming its political support for initiatives in this area. The resolution is based on a previous report presented by the Committee on Industry.
