''Portugal Electronics and ITs 2007''- technology show


The ''Portugal Electronics and ITs 2007'' (Por TI 2007) technology and electronics show, organised by Ministry for Economy and Innovation, opened yesterday at 10 a.m. at FIL, in Lisbon's Parque das Nações.

The show brings together national companies, university R&D centres, technology centres and official representatives, including from the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Internal Administration. The event's aim is to show visitors the best that Portugal has to offer in terms of information technology and electronics, and during the three days of the show, there will be a variety of presentations by the exhibitors and workshops on new services, products and technologies as well as demonstrations of robotics.

ANACOM will be participating in ''Por TI 2007'' with a stand dedicated to presenting the Authority and its work, and the Tariff Monitor, the mobile communications simulator launched by ANACOM in 2005 in association with the three mobile operators - TMN, Vodafone Portugal and Optimus.
