European Commission launches consultation on e-inclusion

The European Commission has launched a public consultation on e-inclusion in the European Union, with the aim of contributing to the preparation of the European initiative for e-inclusion in 2008 and to the accomplishment of the objectives of the Riga Ministerial Declaration made in June 2006.

The consultation, which opened on 11 June, will run until 15 August 2007, and contributions are invited, not only from European citizens, but also from civil organisations, companies and public authorities with relevance to the key areas of e-inclusion.

Other documents can also be sent in response to the questions raised by the consultation, by email to einclusion@ec.europa.eu.
