Radio Spectrum Policy Group - 13th meeting


The report on the 13th meeting of the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) has been published. The meeting, in which ANACOM was present, took place in Brussels on 8 May.

The issues covered by the meeting included: the European Commission’s request for an RSPG opinion on the collective use of spectrum; initial proposal for the European Commission requesting an opinion on radio spectrum use by government services and the possible implications for the European Union;  European Union spectrum regulation, focusing on aspects of harmonisation and coordination within the EU framework and between existing institutions; and preparation for the World Radiocommunications Conference (WRC-07) being held in Geneva, Switzerland on 16 November 2007.

The next RSPG meeting has been scheduled for 22 November 2007, in Brussels.
