The electronic form for temporary radio licensing is now available on ANACOM’s website, enabling users to make applications for temporary radio licensing online.
Temporary radio licensing is used specifically for events of limited duration (congresses, shows, exhibitions, sporting activities, etc.). These events have very particular characaristics with regard to the use of radiocommunication systems for their organisation and security and they require the assignment of necessary frequencies for the use of such systems. This form is designed to streamline the process of frequency allocation for temporary events given that such events require procedures which fast track the processing of requests and allow greater interactivity between ANACOM and the user.
Besides the specific form for temporary radio licensing applications, users can also find a range of information on radio licensing, the use of radio equipment and applicable national legislation.
This service is made available as part of ANACOM’s remit with regard to managing the radio spectrum for which ANACOM is to make a plan of frequencies and in particular undertake their allocation and assignment according to objective, transparent and non-discriminatory criteria and in accordance with the principle of proportionality.
