The European Regulators Group (ERG) has launched four public consultation processes on proposals on the following subjects: The harmonisation Approach, Effective Harmonisation, a common position on remedies to bitstream access, and wholesale unbundled access to the local loop.
The consultations which were launched on 01 December will close on 15 January 2007, and interested parties may send their comments by email to erg-secretariat@ec.europa.eu by this date. The following words should be included in the subject depending on the document being commented on: ''Harmonisation approach'', ''Effective harmonisation'', ''Bitstream access'', and/or ''Wholesale unbundling''.
The publication is also expected shortly of the comments received with respect to the recently closed public consultation on the ERG 2007 Work Programme.
The 19th meeting of the ERG will be taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia, between 7 and 8 December, with a debriefing session scheduled for 14 December in Brussels. Interested parties are requested to register their intention to attend by completing the respective form and sending it by email to erg@ec.europa.eu by 11 December.
On 11 January 2007, the ERG is organising a workshop, also to take place in Brussels, on harmonisation. Interested parties are requested to register their intention to attend by completing the respective form and sending it by email to erg@ec.europa.eu, by 8 January 2007 at the latest.
