An online portal that allows consumers to make and look up complaints about products and services in Portugal is now available on the internet. Known as the ''Livro Amarelo na Net'' (Yellow Book on the Internet), the portal is a free service available to all consumers, companies and individuals.
Consumers can not only register their own complaints online, but also search for and see complaints that other consumers have already made about a particular company, service, product or website. In this way the portal can help consumers take a more informed decision before buying a product or contracting a service.
