By determination of 13 July 2006, ANACOM approved an amendment to the National Frequency Allocation Plan for 2005-2006 (2005-2006 NFAP) to enable the extension of the radio license granted to RTP for SAP/SABapplications (video connections) in the 2500 - 2690 MHz frequency band.
The amendments to the NFAP took place in the frequency allocation table, in the note concerning SAP/SAB applications (video connections) in the 2500 - 2690 MHz frequency band, setting December 31st 2006 as the date for the review of the allocation of this frequency band to RTP.
