ANACOM has released a document which includes a range of general information on international roaming, as well as specific data on the use of this service within the European Union in the period between April 2007 and December 2009. For certain indicators, the average results reported for the national operators are compared against the same data with reference to all operators acting in the European Union.
This document systemises information compiled from various sources, focusing in particular on the five first specification models established by BEREC in the context of international roaming and completed by the different national operators of the European Union. Information was also compiled using the “Electronic Communications Services Consumer Survey” conducted by ICP-ANACOM and GfK Metris between 6 November and 20 December 2009.
