New ECC Decision published

It is now available, also translated into Portuguese, a new decision adopted in the scope of the Electronic Communications Committee (ECC) and which application in Portugal was decided by ANACOM in due time.

This decision – ECC/DEC/(05)11, of 24 June 2005 – regards the free circulation and use of Aircraft Earth Stations (AES) operating in the frequency bands of 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space), 10.7-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 12.5-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth).

ECC, which is part of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), was created in November 2001 replacing both the European Radiocommunications Committee (ERC) and the European Committee for Regulatory Telecommunications Affairs (ECTRA).
