By determination of 14 December 2005, approval was granted to the draft decision on information to be gathered to monitor the market in the scope of the local loop unbundling (LLU).
Following the determination of 8 November 2005, on the conditions for the deployment of the Local Loop Unbundling, ANACOM deems fundamental to be provided with access to up-to-date and detailed information, submitted by operators intervening in the offer, on time limits practised for several services related to the local loop, in order to ensure a swift intervention, in case of need, imposing remedies and protecting the interests of final consumers.
For this purpose, it is established that PT Comunicações and operators and service providers who are beneficiaries of the local loop unbundling (RUO) shall submit to ANACOM due information, on a monthly level, by the end of the month following that to which it corresponds. This information is to be submitted from February 2006 onwards, which implies that the information concerning the month of February should be provided by the end of March 2006.
Pursuant to articles 100 and 101 of the Code of Administrative Procedure, interested parties are entitled to assess the subject in writing, within a 10-day time limit.
