By determination of 15 December, approval was granted to the draft decision imposing upon PT Comunicações (PTC) the obligation to send to subscribers a form enabling them to choose between detailed and non-detailed billing.
Pursuant to this determination, following the adoption of the final decision, PTC must send to former subscribers (those who have concluded contracts prior to the contractual model approved on 8 July 2005) within 60 working days, together with the billing, a form which enables them to choose between one of the types of billing provided for in that new contract. This form must clarify which elements are comprised in each type of billing and inform that, in case the subscriber does not express its will within the time limit determined by PTC, the level 2 billing shall be provided, comprising the details of the different traffic categories, including each call and the respective cost. Having elapsed the time limit for the reply to the form, PTC must provide billing with this level of detail to all subscribers who have not chosen level 1 billing (with the full list of communications and values per communications categories) or which have not expressed their will.
Pursuant to articles 100 and 101 of the Code of Administrative Procedure, PTC has been notified to assess in writing the present determination, within a 10-day time limit.
