On its General Assembly of last November, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) approved the conditions and requirements for the selection of this body’s new director-general.
The selection process for this position is open and respects the terms established on ETSI’s procedure rules. The election will take place on ETSI’s 47th General Assembly, scheduled for 28 and 29 March 2006.
The term of office of ETSI’s current director-general, Karl Heinz Rosenbrock, ends at the end of June 2006.
