ERO Questionnaire - Questionnaire on the future use of TFTS bands

The European Radiocommunications Office (ERO) made a questionnaire directed to the Administrations of the members of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) and to the industry, with the purpose of identifying future uses for the upper part of the harmonized band for Terrestrial Flight Telephone System (TFTS) –1800-1805 MHZ – in Europe.

The questionnaire, now available to interested parties, is made up of two parts, one directed to the Administrations and the other one to the industry.

The use of TFTS bands (1670-1675 MHz and 1800-1805 MHz) has been under analysis in the scope of the Electronic Communications Committee’s (ECC) Work Group Frequency Management (WG FM). The responses to the questionnaire will be present by ERO at the January 2006 WG FM meeting.

Interested parties should send their contributions until 16 December next directly to ERO, care of Fatih Yurdal, to yurdal@ero.dk.
