On 10 September, the European Commission issued calls for proposals for actions to be funded in the scope of both the Safer Internet Plus programme - aimed at promoting a safer use of Internet and new online technologies - and eContentplus programme - aimed at making Europe’s digital contents more accessible, usable and exploitable.
The deadline for sending proposals is 24 November 2005, until 17h00 (Luxembourg’s local time), according to the notices published on the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) of 10 September (2005/C223/09 e 2005/C223/10).
A call for proposals for independent experts is also open until 30 June 2009, also in the scope of the Safer Internet Plus and eContentplus programs, according to notice on the Official Journal of 28 June 2005 (2005/C156/11).
