The decision regarding the retention of PT Comunicações (PTC) in the fixed-mobile traffic has been approved, by determination of 1 September 2005, and likewise approval was given to the report of the prior hearing of interested parties on the corresponding draft decision, approved by determination of 24 June 2005.
This measure, comprised within the context of the implementation of ANACOM’s determination dated 14 December 2004, regarding the application of obligations in the narrowband retail markets, has namely determined upon PTC that it reduces gradually the amount of retention achieved in the fixed-mobile traffic, in order to approximate this value to costs and to current European practices.
