European Commission launches call for tender for study on the use of the radio spectrum


The European Commission’s Directorate General for Information Society and Media launched, on 20 August, a call for tender for a study on the public use of the radio spectrum in the European Union. The purpose of this study is to analyse the legal, economic and technical aspects arising from the collective use of the radio spectrum and to propose a concrete set of measures to exploit the benefits of this approach.

The call for tender is open until 27 September at 4 pm, and the opening of the tenders will take place on 4 October.
