It has been announced that Pedro Duarte Neves will be stepping down as Chairman of ANACOM Management Board. This follows a meeting yesterday of the Council of Ministers, in which a resolution was approved that names the team that will govern the Bank of Portugal and includes the appointment of Pedro Duarte Neves to the position of Vice-Governor.
At the same a meeting a further resolution was approved, which at the request of Pedro Duarte Neves, discharges him of his position as Chairman of ANACOM's Management Board. However he will continue exercising his duties until a new chairperson of the authority is approved.
