ANACOM launches information campaign on the Tariff Monitor


ANACOM will launch an information campaign on the mobile telephone service Tariff Monitor. The Monitor is a simulator developed in collaboration with the three mobile operators (Optimus, TMN and Vodafone Portugal), giving private consumers the chance to freely and interactively refer to and compare these operators’ tariffs for national voice calls, short messages (SMS) and multimedia messages (MMS).

This information campaign, between 17 April and the end of May, aims at publicizing the Tariff Monitor and to widen its use, and is mainly based on a large scale distribution of an information leaflet and poster, banners on several Internet websites, and information ads on the press and the national ATM machines network.
