The results of Project ECSI - Portugal 2005 (European Customer Satisfaction Index) will be released at a Seminar on 21 April at the Auditorium of Instituto Português da Qualidade (IPQ - Portuguese Institute for Quality), in Monte de Caparica.

The ECSI - Portugal project is a system that measures the quality of goods and services available on the national market through customer satisfaction. This project is developed since 1999 by a team made up of IPQ, Associação Portuguesa para a Qualidade (APQ - Portuguese Association for Quality) and Instituto Superior de Estatística e Gestão da Informação of Universidade Nova de Lisboa (ISEGI-UNL).

The event will release this project’s 2005 results. It encompasses the following industries: banking (banks with a market share standing above 3% of their assets); fuel (fuel companies); communications (mobile and fixed telecommunications, postal communications and cable television); insurance (insurance companies) and passenger transportation in the Greatest Lisbon and Greatest Porto areas. The communications survey is sponsored by Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações (ANACOM) since 2000.

Registration for this event may be made until 19 April. The number of participants is limited to the room's capacity.
