The Emergency Centre Portal, an exclusively private initiative owned by the Direct Hip, Lda. enterprise, is the first information portal for the community of professionals in the emergency, civil protection and security activities. This portal shall be launched officially next week - on January the 26th - in the scope of the 1st Social Emergency Conference held in Portugal, an event which shall take place at the Portuguese Foundation for Communications, including also the presentation of the Emergency Centres and the Emergency Typologies in Portugal.
This new portal – Emergency Centre – aims at gathering available information on several perspectives of emergency, such as social emergency, medical emergency, emergency and civil protection, emergency and police security and emergency and business security. The portal makes also available information on the emergency centres of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP), Spanish-speaking Countries and the European Union.
