The Statistical Yearbook for 2003, with data on the communications sector (telecommunications and postal communications) for that year, is now available.
In addition to a perspective on the weight of the sector in the Portuguese economy, this instrument comprises all postal services, public telecommunication networks, the leased lines service, the fixed telephone service and public pay telephones, the mobile terrestrial service, the mobile service with shared resources, the cable distribution networks, data transfer services and Internet access services, audiotext services and radiocommunication services.
This initiative aims, for the sixth consecutive year, at providing market agents, as well as consumers of postal services and telecommunications, with solid data that enable informed and up-to-date choices to be made on the part of all those who invest, manage and use communications.
